Mary Pietrzyk is the director of stakeholder strategy and engagement at the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI). In this capacity, she manages NEI’s strategy for research and outreach to third party groups, relevant stakeholders, and potential allies in order to amplify industry messages and identify opportunities for collaboration.
Ken Luongo, President, PGS
Ken Luongo is a recognized innovator, entrepreneur, and leader in global nuclear and transnational security policy. He served as the Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Energy for Nonproliferation Policy and simultaneously at the Department of Energy as the Director of the Office of Arms Control and Nonproliferation, Director of the Russia and Newly Independent States Nuclear Material Security Task Force and Director of the North Korea Task Force.
John Kotek, Vice President, Policy Development and Public Affairs, NEI
John Kotek is NEI’s vice president of policy development and public affairs. He is responsible for providing policy and public affairs leadership on financial, economic, tax, electricity market and environmental issues related to the nuclear energy industry. Kotek was appointed in January 2015 to the position of principal deputy assistant secretary for the Department of Energy Office of Nuclear Energy (DOE-NE) and was nominated by President Obama in October 2015 to serve as assistant secretary for nuclear energy.
David Victor, Professor, UC San Diego
David Victor is a professor of international relations at the School of Global Policy and Strategy at UC San Diego. He is a director of the Laboratory on International Law and Regulation (ILAR) and is the Center for Global Transformation Endowed Chair in Innovation and Public Policy. Victor is also the Co-director of the campus-wide Deep Decarbonization Initiative, which focuses on real world strategies for bringing the world to nearly zero emissions of warming gases.
Armond Cohen, Executive Director, Clean Air Task Force
Armond Cohen is co-founder and Executive Director of the Clean Air Task Force, which he has led since its formation in 1996. In addition to leading CATF, Armond is directly involved in CATF research and advocacy on the topic of requirements to deeply decarbonize global energy systems. Prior to his work with CATF, Armond founded and led the Conservation Law Foundation’s Energy Project starting in 1983, focussing on energy efficiency, utility resource planning, and electric industry structure.

Jason Grumet is the President of the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC). Jason has 20 years of experience working at the intersection of science, policy and politics. Throughout his career, he has built and led unique coalitions that have realized significant policy achievements at both the state and federal level.
